Dispossession and The Stolen Generations -This engaging talk gives insight into how post-colonial history effected Aboriginal peoples. As this is a very sensitive subject, we discuss it with the utmost care and respect at a non-political level. Through art and discussion we educate on Aboriginal perspectives of invasion, frontier wars, loss of land, reserves and missions and the stolen generations. The talk includes ideas for teachers to discuss the topic with their classes at an age appropriate level.
